BRF, one of the largest food companies in the world, donated 3,000 tests to detect Covid-19 to the Carambeí City Hall, in the Campos Gerais region of Paraná. The kits will be used in the city's testing actions, contributing to the fight against Covid-19 and its effects on society.
The action is part of the BRL 50 million announced by BRF in April 2020 in donations in food, medical supplies and support for research and social development funds, to contribute to efforts to combat the effects of the pandemic. The initiative reaches hospitals, social assistance organizations and health professionals in the states and municipalities in which the company operates. In Carambeí, since the beginning of the pandemic, BRF has also donated lots of masks and gel alcohol to the municipality.
