For the second consecutive year, BRF was elected one of the most innovative food companies in Brazil, according to a survey carried out by strategy consultancy PWC, Strategy&. In the overall ranking, the company advanced 21 positions and began to occupy the 24th place in the overall ranking. In Brazil, BRF is responsible for the Sadia, Perdigão and Qualy brands.
The survey ranked the 150 most innovative companies out of 215 enrolled. Different sectors and investments in innovation, best practices, creation of new products, solutions and strategies were considered, among other indicators. The criteria evaluated were the ability and skills to reinvent themselves in the current market and in the future.
BRF is one of the largest food companies in the world, with more than 30 brands in its portfolio, including Sadia, Perdigão, Qualy, Paty, Dánica, Bocatti and Vienissima. Its products are marketed in more than 150 countries, on five continents. More than 90,000 employees work in the company, which maintains more than 50 factories in eight countries (Argentina, Brazil, United Arab Emirates, Netherlands, Malaysia, UK, Thailand and Turkey).
