The company donated 3 tons of food to combat the effects of Coronavirus

Toledo (PR) will receive more donations from BRF, one of the largest food companies in the world, to help fight the Coronavirus. The company will supply 3 tons of food to hospitals Associação de Saúde do Oeste do Paraná and Associação Beneficente Costa Oeste, in Toledo, and Hospital Universitário do Oeste do Paraná, in Cascavel, which will be used to prepare meals for patients.

The action is part of the BRL 50 million announced by BRF earlier this month in donations in food, medical supplies and support for research and social development funds, to contribute to efforts to combat the effects of the pandemic. The initiative will include hospitals, social assistance organizations and health professionals in the states and municipalities in which the company operates.

In all, in hospital institutions alone, including field hospitals, donations should favor more than 15,000 people/day throughout the country. As a global company, the Company will extend this initiative to countries where it has production units such as Turkey and the United Arab Emirates.
